In short

This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking and loads no third-party content. Fonts and images are served from the same server as the page. Only if you switch between light and dark mode (top right) does your browser remember that choice locally (localStorage); it is not sent to the server and can be deleted with your browser data at any time.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When you visit, the server stores technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser identifier) in log files. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and stable operation).

Contact form

If you write to me via the contact form, I process your email address, your message and – if given – your name to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The message is sent by email to my mailbox at STRATO and deleted once it has been dealt with and no retention obligation applies. To prevent spam, your IP address is stored only as an irreversible hash for at most one hour. Your browser also solves a small computing task on the contact page, set and checked by my server (spam protection without third parties or cookies). Nothing is passed on to third parties.

YouTube, Instagram and the disclaimer on disclaimer.de are only linked, not embedded. Only when you click a link do you leave this website; the privacy policy of the respective provider then applies (Google for YouTube, Meta for Instagram, the operator of disclaimer.de).

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
